CELEBRITY and Lasagne with Reed

On Thursday evening I went to CMB up on campus to see the first preview of CELEBRITY, a film by Diego Viera Jenkins.  This was an experimental project with no dialogue and I liked the outcome.  Abe laughed heartily when he saw me as the deranged star.  I'm glad I did it!  The other students' films were very well done.  And tonight Reed came for home made lasagne and got to see the UT films I've worked on.  Lots of laughs and good cheer.  Whoever would have thought that these NY transplants would have found such a kindred spirit in a self described country club kid from Midland?  Thank goodness he became a hippie!
