Live From New York/BENGAL TIGER AT THE BAGHDAD ZOO

Day began with ZUMBA at the 9th Street Y.  Great class with adorable teacher.

The sun is shining and Abe and I walked around our old street, had coffee and bagels at Naidre's, ran into old neighbors and then headed out to see his Mom in Jackson Heights Queens.  Jackson Heights is the heart of the Indian commerce community and the streets are filled with unusual smells of spices, tons of colorful silk saris and all kinds of electronic equipment for sale.  You couldn't find a bagel shop here if your life depended on it!

We all four (Pam and Ira) headed out to Times Square where we ate incredibly good Family Style Italian food at Di Napoli and then saw Robin Williams in BENGAL TIGER AT THE BAGHDAD ZOO.  Ira really liked it, Pam liked it and Abe and I did not.  That's theater for you.  We had a great night nevertheless.  Times Square was lit up to the heavens and there were thousands of people on the steets.
