United Airlines suffered a massive computer glitch on Friday night and on the last leg of Liz's flights home we never knew if she made it on the plane. No one could tell us if indeed her flight was in the air. So we just waited and waited til l a.m. and there in her splendor emerged the world wide traveler..smiling and beautiful.
She came home to learn that she'd won silvers and honorable mentions in the Paris Photography Competition and Abe was afraid neighbors would call the police from the screams of glee emerging from the 3rd floor.
Last night we surprised her with a party of her delightful Austin friends and so true to her Lizziness she said "mama you know you don't have to do this.... I don't like being the focus of attention but it was very nice." I took a risk knowing that but it was sweeeeeet! Father's Day today and we're off to see Woody's new movie at the Violet Crown. More on that.
